The Grounds

The church and hall is extraordinarily old, (at over 900 years!) situated in Morville. Some original features from 1118 remain, including the chancel arch, the south door and perhaps the richly carved Norman font. Interestingly, The bells of the church, and its monastic past, were the inspiration for Katherine Swift's popular book The Morville Hours. Published in 2008, it is about the garden the author created at the Dower House at Morville Hall, seen in the backdrop here behind the church.

The Organ

Jens' uncle Simon has generously offered to play the organ for us. Simon is a professional Church of England Organist based in Essex. Here he is at the very organ he'll be playing at Morville Church, St Gregory the Great Church.

The Church

The Church of St Gregory the Great, Morville Church, is situated a short drive from the farm. Not to be confused with Aston Eyre church, which is much smaller, (though equally charming!) and situated directly opposite the farm.
